My concern is not the food or the service today. It is the GORGEOUS Black and White Grey Dane, with its own couch at Karoo Kafee. Winter is on us and that poor animal is clearly in pain either his back or because of arthritis. He can hardly walk and have to sit down before another attempt or lie down in the couch. Please help him.!! It's upsetting to see his discomfort.

The Butternut Quiche was insanely substandard. Difficult to describe all the details. The poor manager (very polite and sweet) then admitted that the quiche came from a new supplier and confirmed my worst nightmare that I maybe ate something from a dodge mass supplier somewhere in the industrial areas of Jhb who has no ethical value systems regarding organic, cancer free, “Karoo” authentic produce. We have been customers for almost two decades but the decline is now evidend. Will not eat there again. “Karoo” is just the nice name. Authenticity and honest food that captures the imagination of the city.. crushed down to a sad 0% Your website’s beautiful descriptions in “Living consiously” and “Nature” are false and a far cry from reality. Please revisit your concept and execution. Sadly dissapointing. Im not critisising the staff at all. The owners need to take the full blame.
