Great to bad

Had my car service and all was well and good. Then the boot would not open anymore. Asked if I could bring it back just to have a look and when I did I was asked to leave my car there. I explained I can't do this as I have work and just want someone to have a look, maybe it is a quick fix and still told to wait with no indication as to how long. Left with a boot that still does not open.
