We had been buying building materials from KCarrim since the start of our project and although the orders were slow to arrive they did arrive. The problem started when we ordered aluminium windows and an aluminium front door on the 14th of February. The wrong windows arrived but we overlooked that because the size was correct. The door however never arrived. We kept requesting when the door would arrive as we were told that the supplier was making the door. On the 27th of March we went to the store in person to enquire about the door and were told that the stock had arrived but due to it being a long weekend (easter weekend) we would only receive delivery of the door on Tuesday the 2nd of April, to which we agreed. On Tuesday the 2nd we called to ask what time delivery would be taking place, only to be told (explicitly) that delivery drivers were DRUNK and HUNGOVER (unprofessional to mention this to a customer) and promised to call back as and when a driver becomes available. We never received the call and called the next day 3rd of March and were told that there was no stock and that we had been refunded to a KCarrim account. My complaint is that we left space for a door that was possibly sold to someone else. The lack of professionalism and blatant disrespect has left us so disappointed considering how loyal we had been to the store and we wish that the powers that be at KCarrim will address this. While writing this, I received a call from their customer care to say that they've raised a purchase order for the door, meaning another 2-3 months wait when we were promised delivery yesterday. Building a house is such a stressful ordeal and having an unreliable supplier just adds to that stress. Please do better by your customers.
