Other than the historical significance of the venue and the wonderful display of the history of the SA war, and the friendly professional game ranger on the game drive, we are utterly disappointed by the lunch-time service of something as simple as a ham, cheese and tomato sandwich. Cold chips, one tiny slice of tomato and NO ham on the cold sandwich. No apologies. No replacement. After a long drive to get here, what a disappointing experience continuing to the buffet-style dinner serving raw supposed baked potatoes to mention but one. The worst tasting custard, dry, tasteless malva pudding was a real anti-climax! Have to say, the place would not see our group again. Such a shame for such a setting should live up to the supposed 4-star rating, especially taken into account the price.
