They gave me 2 months notice stating that the landlord wanted to sell the house as she could not do the contracted and agreed repairs to the house. I found a house 3 weeks later and moved out, they are now saying that I should have given them 1 month notice before moving out and that they will now keep my deposit. I was also informed by the agent that the house is now back on the rental market....what about my original contract? I think that this is a scam being run by Kela properties to get a tenant out of the house if the landlord doesn't have the finance to fix the house as per the rental contract. Once the tenant is out, they then put the house back on the rental market, get a new tenant and carry on receiving their rental % from the landlord.
