Keller Williams realty in SA dissapoints

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our experience with the agent, Jacqui Setaobo, has been nothing short of disastrous. We were pressured into making an offer above the asking price without any competing offers in place. Upon taking occupation, we found the house in a filthy condition. The electrical compliance certificate (COC) was signed off by a friend of the sellers, and we immediately discovered numerous non-compliant issues.

On our first night, our kitchen flooded due to clogged pipes, and the upstairs basins don’t hold water, even with the pop-up stoppers pressed down—there’s no proper provision for this. Additionally, there were undisclosed leaks at both the patio and braai, which I had to fix myself. The built-in fish tank, which we paid an extra R10,000 for, has serious electrical faults with exposed wires.

Throughout this process, the agent has been completely unhelpful and has distanced herself from all responsibility. I strongly advise anyone to avoid this agency. I will do everything in my power to ensure they are never allowed to sell another house in Welgelegen, Plattekloof, or the surrounding areas. They make backyard mechanics look competent—no offense to them!
