I am the owner of a residential property managed by this agency under a property management mandate. The tenant has paid rental, however two months’ rental has not been paid over to me. It has now been three weeks since the most recent payment was made by the tenant, and I have still not received the funds. Despite several attempts to resolve the matter through discussions and written communication, the agent has failed to engage constructively and has instead attempted to dictate terms. I have requested: Payment of all outstanding rental arrears Transfer of the tenant’s deposit into my bank account A full rental reconciliation statement To date, these requests have not been comp**** with. The withholding of rental monies raises serious concerns regarding the handling of trust funds. Formal notices have been issued, and the matter has been escalated to the relevant regulatory authorities.

Keller Williams Centurion compiled an inspection report when a tenant vacated my property and the report noted no issues or damages. Upon my inspection of the property I noted multiple issues and damage that were not on the report. Keller Williams refuses to acknowledge their negligence, refuses to hold the tenant liable and is failing to enforce terms of the lease agreement. Their bad faith, racial bias and negligence is a reputational risk to the entire Keller Williams brand.

Initial consultation was friendly and staff explained conditions clearly. I felt follow-ups were weak and communication dropped off. Mixed feelings good start, but needs consistency.

I want to take a moment to recognize Christa for the outstanding service she provides. Her dedication and genuine care are rare qualities that really stand out. She goes above and beyond to make sure her clients feel supported and confident throughout the entire home buying or selling journey. I have no hesitation recommending Christa—anyone working with her is definitely in great hands.

The agent representing KW Select acted *********ly regarding the process of renting out the property and disappeared as soon as he received his commission. Grievances: The agent presented us with a tenant signee that failed their credit check. The agent told the renter that they can pay "whenever". The agent had already allowed the tenant to move in on the 8th of April, although the lease stated that they would only be able to move in on the 12th. This was done without our knowledge or consent. The agent made various promises to the tenant that we were never informed of. As soon as the agent received his commission, he disappeared and was uncontactable. When we attempted to reach him through KW Select, we were not provided with any information other than he was working from home and that he will be in the office the following day. We attempted to contact him through KW Select for several days. KW Select released a portion of the deposit back to the tenant without our knowledge or consent. This is despite the fact that there are outstanding fees and no exit inspection had been performed yet, nor have the keys to property been returned yet. The final rental statement only reflects occupation until 9 August, despite the house keys only being returned on the 12th of August The dealer principal of KW Select has refused to communicate with us through any of this. I believe that KW Select is liable to resolve these grievances as they backed the agent reputable (and who is still listed on many sites as a KW Select agent), and are responsible for his actions as a member of the KW Select team.

I’ve just bought my first property through Keller Williams, and I couldn’t have asked for a better agent than Adele Mclintock. What could’ve been an overwhelming process felt seamless thanks to her. She guided me every step of the way, explained everything with complete transparency, and kept me consistently updated. Everything moved faster than expected, largely because Adele is incredibly organised, punctual, and reassuring. She made the experience feel smooth and stress-free—and I’d gladly work with her again in the future.

If you ever move to the lowveld, PLEASE don't ever rent from Keller williams, they are absolutely useless, they also do things such as raise your rent without any notice, put contracts in place such as renewing lease agreements without your consent, they leverage your rent and expect you to pay months in advance to have the rates on taxes paid on the property, they also have zero communication skills, and try manipulate us that in order for us to have our power restored to our property due to their non payment of rates and taxes that we will need to pay a further amount of rent for months we haven't even reached yet, and we pay in advance every month for the month, they cannot even scratch together responses to issues with the property and then we get told our rent is behind when we actually R4000 in credit, please anyone who reads this save yourself enormous stress DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!!!! even the owner who has been privi to all that is going on has got no interest in solving his staffs complete lack of business ethic, extremely dissatisfied

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our experience with the agent, Jacqui Setaobo, has been nothing short of disastrous. We were pressured into making an offer above the asking price without any competing offers in place. Upon taking occupation, we found the house in a filthy condition. The electrical compliance certificate (COC) was signed off by a friend of the sellers, and we immediately discovered numerous non-compliant issues. On our first night, our kitchen flooded due to clogged pipes, and the upstairs basins don’t hold water, even with the pop-up stoppers pressed down—there’s no proper provision for this. Additionally, there were undisclosed leaks at both the patio and braai, which I had to fix myself. The built-in fish tank, which we paid an extra R10,000 for, has serious electrical faults with exposed wires. Throughout this process, the agent has been completely unhelpful and has distanced herself from all responsibility. I strongly advise anyone to avoid this agency. I will do everything in my power to ensure they are never allowed to sell another house in Welgelegen, Plattekloof, or the surrounding areas. They make backyard mechanics look competent—no offense to them!
