My car had problem with oil leak and showing coolant sign on the dashboard. I booked it to be checked and fixed the cause. It been with Kia over two months. First offer was that I have to replace engine with no valid reasons or proper report why they said so. In that time the car was not even diagnosed. After a while they phoned me said the car is fine, I can take it. When I parked at home, I noticed that there were drops of oil on the ground. The car came back with an oil leak and there was also a mixture of oil and water on the way back. I noticed water and oil mixing the next day when I opened the oil cap. I wasn't sure what was going on with my car until I googled it. I reported to the Head Office but I never been assisted.

Can you help me with Pietermaritzburg Kia an outstanding issue. My car had a problem with an oil leak and a sign of coolant on the dashboard. On March 20th I took the car to Kia to checked the cause and fixed it. Kia called me and said my car needed a new engine and nothing confirmed the reason for the new engine and I turned it off. After two weeks I got a call to get permission to send the car to Engineers and I agreed. The engineers pointed out two things that had to be replaced. Check the attachment. After that Kia made the first quotation and there were things that was not supposed to be done in the car. I rejected that quote. Kia made second qoutation and I canceled the other parts as well. I told him to focus on the oil leak and coolant as the quote was out of my budget. Check the attachment. He also told me that they will put in generic parts and when I looked at the parts the price is too expensive for generic parts. We agreed that I would buy my own parts because of the budget and he refused the discount. I was billed for the work. He told me they could get generic parts for me. Check the attachment. I'm sure they raised the prices as engineers. They charged R1800 but I end up paying the engineers R3500. The first offer was R4500 for engineers from the first quotation. Kia said the car is fine, I can take it. When I parked at home, I noticed that there were drops of oil on the ground. The car came back with an oil leak and there was also a mixture of oil and water on the way back. I noticed water and oil mixing the next day when I opened the oil cap. I wasn't sure what was going on with my car until I googled it. Another thing is that when my husband contacted the engineers who inspected my car, they said that whatever they do, Terrence Pietermaritzburg Kia instructed. The work they did was unrelated to the oil leak. I also want to know what was the reason to sent the car to the engineers?. Kia workshop in Pietermaritzburg I wish they would do a diagnostic report on the cause of the oil leak as soon as I brought the car in as the problem was not fixed it means to me that the car was not diagnosed . Went for my annual service in July. Service consultant Excellent, service manager rude. My clutch got adjusted during the service and I kept telling them all 3 times when I had to return it for it to be readjusted. He kept insisting that they could have never touched it yet the mechanic did admit to adjusting it as if I don't know how my car drives daily. Very disappointing and inconveniencing to have to keep going back to them for them to correct it. It's as if I was inconveniencing them. Rude and talking to me like an imbecile because I am a female and the assumption is that I don't know cars or perhaps don't know how to drive my own car. Not the first time I've had a bad experience there. Definitely won't be going back #WIN

I am back again at KIA Pmburg service department with the intermittent problem on my car. Even though this problem has persisted for a while now, I would again like to compliment everyone at the sevice department KIA Pietermaritzburg for the outstanding way customers are treated there. It really is a pleasure to come here, everyone is pleasant and friendly, and there is frequent communication from the reception area and the workshop as to progress with one's vehicle. Thank you, everyone for once again making my forced attendance as pleasant as I could wish for.
