First of all STOP leaving remarks about how rude and upsetting Michelle is. Michelle is not a here for you!! She is here for the dogs and they are the most important. , She is a dedicated and unselfish dog rescuer. She is there for the dogs! Not you! Not that its has happened but I would gladly have her be rude to me because she is MY HERO. She and her team works VERY hard and long and tiring hours to rescue dogs from terrible conditions!
1. Were they perhaps brisk on the phone - I had no problem with that. When I was there this team were going from one appointment to the other, phones really ringing constantly. These people works their butts off! They don’t have time for letting you get that warm and fuzzy feeling!
2. I have adopted two dogs from them and it has only been a positive experience. There dogs are very well looked after!
3. Second time I tried to adopt they said they don’t allow adoptions with two females dogs in the house and you know what!? I immediately accepted it because guess what - they are not doing YOU a favor, they are the custodians of these animals and I respect that. They decide NOT you!! They would rather have the dog stay safe in their kennel than possibly be not safe and be returned adding more stress to the dog!
4. If you get there and the dog you were looking for were adopted even if you drove 6000 kms, if you really are are an animal person you would be celebrating the fact that a dog got a home. Why not look if there is another doggie that would suit your home?????? They work on a first come first serve basis and they make that clear.
These guys are MY HEROES!
