We decided to go wine tasting at Klein Constantia Winery. As it was a Sunday, we realized they close at 4pm and we thought it would be a good idea to rush to Klein Constantia to make it in time for the wine tasting. We were looking forward to a nice relaxed afternoon however the service we received by the wine tasting patron was, in my opinion, not up to industry standard. Due to the time constraint, the patron purposely rushed us and it was made clear to us that the patron was doing this so they could close on time and, in effect, this gave us and other customers a rushed feel. During the tasting itself, we received a lower than average amount of wine per glass and before we'd even tasted a vintage, the patron would force the next vintage on us. This made us feel like we were being rushed out the door and made us feel like unwanted customers.

To add insult to injury, we discovered as we were walking out the door, that other potentially paying customers were sitting in the parking lot as they had been turned away at the door merely for being 5 minutes too late before closing time which for a place with such high standards seems unacceptable to me. Surely this is bad service?
