We can agree that times are tough - so squandering money fruitlessly makes no sense, right? Here’s my letter to KLF Computers - which has been ignored….
“ You’ll recall charging me R230.00 for merely advising that HP declared my printer ‘discontinued’ for which no spares are available - despite selling me 3 ink cartridges (at R900!) for this ‘discontinued’ machine. As a pensioner I remain irked at such a costly, pointless, notification. However, there’s good news….with no training or skill to speak of you’ll be pleased to learn that I’ve repaired the printer myself! There’s even better news….for R230.00 (a refund of your ineffective “inspection fee”) I’ll teach you how to remedy the fault you neither sought nor found. Don’t hesitate to avail yourselves of this offer which may assist you in actually repairing similar HP faults - thus justifying your frees!” Roger S.
