I am highly disappointed with the customer service of the Kloof Country Club, and how you treat the youth of today. I was denied access to book a table at the restaurant to dine with a few friends on Saturday the 9th of October 2021, who by the way are all over the age of 18. I understand that you are hosting a grand opening on the 8th of October 2021 and there is an age limit of 25 of Ladies and 27 of Gentlemen for that particular event, however my reservation was for the 9th of October at the restaurant. I would like to quote just a few lines from your website before I continue “…restaurant open to member and public, wedding, function and conference facilities…” and “Kloof Country Club really is the place to be for young professionals, families, retired locals and holiday makers.” Now for you to deny my access to a public restaurant is discrimination, a country club’s rules does not govern a public restaurant “open to the member of public”. As a restaurant your job is to welcome customers and ensure that they have the best time whilst they are dining. However you turned me away. I will make sure that my voice is heard!
