I posted a statement about Nicholas Beresford on Hellopeter. Everything I stated regarding his actions and behaviour were absolutely true and accurate. But I was contacted by his attorneys, BDK Attorneys, and told to remove my statement on Hellopeter as it was defamatory and if I didn’t do so, they would take me to High Court. I sought advice from a legal colleague and was informed that I am perfectly entitled to make personal statements on this platform that are a valid and authentic. I am fully within my rights to make a complaint about the service and conduct of an individual. He accepted the full commission from the commercial sale and agreed to pay out the relevant commissions to the agencies and agents involved in the transaction. (Nick Beresford had absolutely no involvement in the sale whatsoever.) Once the monies were in his Trust Account, he adamantly refused to pay out any commissions to the individuals involved, completely reneging on his agreement which he made at a meeting with one of the Principals involved in the deal and his attorney. Nicholas Beresford retains the full commission to this date. BDK claim that my statement is “baseless and unfounded”, yet it is completely accurate and true. I have proof to support all statements made. Nick Beresford still owes me R78,000 commission from the sale.
