Urgent Need for Improvement at Provincial Hospital

am compelled to share my distressing experience at Knysna Provincial Hospital, where I witnessed a shocking disregard for patient care that I believe puts lives at risk.

During my visit, I observed patients waiting for hours without receiving the help they desperately needed. The lack of timely assistance is alarming; individuals in critical condition were left unattended, highlighting a severe flaw in the hospital's triage system and overall management.

While I understand that emergency rooms can be overwhelmed, the level of neglect I witnessed was unacceptable. There seemed to be a lack of communication among the staff, leading to confusion and frustration for both patients and their families.

I implore the management of Knysna Provincial Hospital to take immediate action to address these issues. Our community deserves a healthcare facility that prioritizes timely and effective care for all patients.

I hope my comments will prompt a critical evaluation of the current processes to prevent further loss of life due to delays in treatment.
