I travelled to this establishment. Spent time viewing the facilities. Spent time with restaurant manager arranging breakfast Buffet and made a booking for 60 people for our year end Xmas function. received the quotation. accepted the Quotation only to have the accommodation cancelled Sighting that we were not welcome because we ride motorcycles. we are actually the friendliest most respectful family orientated people and we were discriminated against i will not return

Disappointed to find this resort openly discriminates against bikers.Hospitality should welcome all, not exclude.

This place ( Kokoriba) just demoted itself tremendously by its ************** and prejudice against and placing certain groups if people ( an established civilized motorcycle group ) in a bad light... We as a law abiding cultured group of people to be told.... " our type are not welcome" ...... Excuse me!!!! What kind of an establishment allows ********, narrow minded, types of people to represent their business.. This is a clear representation of inadequate deficient interpersonal skills from a entity with a hypocritical immature illusion. To say the least.....

We recently had our year-end weekend booked at Kokoriba Wildsreservaat, but to our dismay, we received a call today stating that we, as bikers, are not welcome. This is absolutely unbelievable and discriminatory. Our group is made up of families who are a part of the biking community. We are not some rowdy gang; we are people who contribute to our communities and probably do more for others than the average person. We were looking forward to a relaxing weekend away with our loved ones, but Kokoriba's prejudiced policy has ruined our plans. It's disheartening to be judged and turned away based on a stereotype. We are responsible, law-abiding citizens, and to be told we're "not welcome" because we ride motorcycles is simply unacceptable. This kind of prejudice has no place in the hospitality industry. We would not recommend Kokoriba Wildsreservaat to anyone who values respect and fair treatment.

Really haven't had a pleasant experience with the admin or receptionist ladies. Been waiting for 4 days just to get feedback on our breakage fee, and it is now another 3 days later - so almost a week down the line. They told me that they will pay back the money but that we haven't paid for the wood and that they will deduct the R600 from our breakage fee - the wood has been paid before we even arrived at our stay! They don't make sure of their facts before they give you feedback. We booked Makoro and we were unsure about the cleaning and whether it is included in our stay. When we asked the receptionist how it works she told us "julle moet maar skottelgoed watertjies in tap en julle eie goedjies was"! Meanwhile it was included in the stay. She just wasn't sure as it was her "first week" and when confronting her about her attitude they tried justifying it by saying that she is "new" or that she is actually just a "grapgat", which I think is a load of bull! I think make sure of your facts before you treat your clients like ****.

We were camping at Kokoriba during June 2024. As it goes on the first night when a group of friends get together we were playing music and had a few drinks (the same as all our neighbours camping next to us). Just after 22h00 the security came around and asked us to switch our music off where-after we switched it off immediately as we knew it was the rule of the resort and security is only doing their job. One of the people in our group said to the security (which was wearing body cameras) that they must attend to the ditches between the campsite as you could easily hurt yourself especially if a group of people sharing campsites. The ditch at Ablusion 4 is deep and in the dark you can hardly see it and he just ask that management must attend to it. None of this was ever meant to be an attack on anybody, it was just an observation. The next morning a guy by the name of Nelis who is chasing up and down with a quad between the campsites came hammering on our caravan door shouting that he wants to speak to somebody immediately. It was just after 07h00 in the morning. Our caravan door as well as the tents on the other campsite (which was part of our group) were still closed but it did not even bother him. First he hammered on our neighbours caravan door (with baby twins) just to find he had the wrong campsite. After he shouted for a 2nd time, I went outside and he started screaming at us saying that if we cannot accept the rules of the resort, he will personally pack up our campsite and tow us out of the premises..... I don't know who does he think he is as who will take responsibility for any damages should he do that. He had no right to shout out a threat like that so loud that the other people were coming out of their tents to see what the commotion is all about. It was as he was finding some kind of joy in humiliating us. Why were he not wearing a "Body Cam"? After investigating the attitude of the person I found that he was not even a manager, only a maintenance man with no authority but obviously he is getting away with it therefor he will continue doing it. The shocking part of it all is that I have reported this matter to the management of Kokoriba and I am really disgusted to say that nothing has been done to this situation.....not even proper feedback after a written complaint to them. Kokoriba will never see us again and I will make it my job not to refer them to anybody. It is a pity as it is really a very nice resort but with personnel like that (specifically Nelis), I will rather take my business elsewhere!
