I am extremely disappointed with the service and product quality from Kurt Geiger, purchased at Spitz - Menlyn Park Shopping Centre. I bought a brown leather shoe from Spitz at Menlyn Mall (Kurt Geiger brand). The second time I wore the shoe, I stepped into a small amount of water while stepping out of my car — nothing excessive or out of the ordinary. To my absolute shock, the shoe immediately changed colour from brown to cream. How does a genuine leather shoe change colour so drastically from minimal contact with water? This raises serious concerns about the quality of the product being sold. I returned the shoe to Spitz at Menlyn Mall to have the issue sorted out. It has now been over a month, and I am still waiting for feedback or resolution. I constantly have to follow up myself. Every time I call, I receive a different story, and no one seems to take accountability for what has happened to my shoe or where it currently is. The lack of communication, poor service, and complete absence of ownership is unacceptable - especially for a premium brand and retailer. At this point, I feel completely disregarded as a customer. I expected far better quality and significantly better customer service. I would not recommend purchasing from this store if this is how customer complaints are handled.

On the 24 January 2026 I went to Kurt Geiger to cancel the layout I had with them. Arriving I was told the store doesnt have money, I must leave the slip and the my account information they will later deposit it. I did so but I had a video in case they say I didn’t leave the slip and phone recordings because I’ve been calling them from 25th January, 26,27,28,29 and 30th they sent me from pillar to post. Now they telling me the slip is at Spitz of which I don’t know as to why? I think tellers took my money R1500 now they don’t want to pay it back.

Highly suggest you do not buy the formal work shirts. Spent between R8-R9k in work clothes. The navy blue shirt and black shirt faded in less than 6 months. When we went to the store to show how bad the quality was they took the shirts in and the manager (Vusi) said it needed to go under QC. The shirts were then sent to jhb (process took over 5 weeks). During that time I received little feedback and resorted to contacting the regional manager (Darryl Joseph). He was helpful and said he would get involved. However, later on in the month it was basically decided to decline exchanging - blaming it on poor customer care - which is absolutely not true as it washed within the recommended instructions and ironed inside out with a handkerchief. Please consider not wasting your money here. Go read other reviews and you will see it is consistently a problem. Very disappointing.

Bought a belt at their Clearwater store, and sales lady Kealeboga Senyasamore damaged it. It’s not the first time having issue with this store, I just never learned I don’t have a good luck with this shop. Now I’m battling to get my refund or replacement belt. Now I’m not sure I need to seek further help to make myself heard to plead for my refund.

I bought a pair of Kurt Geiger shoes, about a few months back, the quality of the laces was very poor, I took the shoes back to them, they only replaced the laces and now I am stuck with a pair of expensive shoes with broken laces. Their quality assurance team, is absolutely not on point.

I am disappointed with the quality of belts that Kurt Geiger is selling. I bought a belt at the store hardly four months the belt is about to tear inside. I took the belt back and they told me that they can't assist me.

My son purchases an item for me for fathersday and unfortunately misplaced the receipt. I am from another town and I called the Witbank Mall in order to determine if I could be assisted to return the item. The store manger then said that I will be assisted and that they can obtain another receipt. I drove all the way through to the store. The receipt was retrieved from the system and then the store manager refused to refund me after she said she would. The garment was still brand new and never worn. I wanted to obtain a refund because my spouse already purchased a similar item for me for fathersday. They managed to retrieve the purchase proof but still did not want to refund me. Truworths, Jam,, Edgars and most stores will accept a printed receipt as it serves as proof that the item was purchased at the store and that they received the money. My son and I were regular customers of Kurt Geiger but after the poor service and very bad experience with customer care they had an excuse of company policy, while the consumer act states that if you are not happy with a product you may return it to the store for a refund. In terms of s16 of the CPA, if a consumer has bought goods he has the full right to a cash refund if not happy with the goods. The regional manager refused to even get back to me and I had to call customer care in order to leave a message three times. Poor service and no understanding My number is 0813192400. Kurt Geiger is tremendously poor in dealing with customer care and return policies are not complying to Law. I need a full refund because the proof of purchase is available and the garment is still brand new. Be careful to shop with them. My family will never support them again.

In December bought new shoes for work at Highveld Mall Witbank at a price well deserved however in just a month the shoes treads are already tearing up. This is disappointing given that I always buy shoes at Kurt Geiger for work. Where did it go wrong?
