Extremely Disappointed – Poor Quality & No Accountability at Spitz Menlyn Mall

I am extremely disappointed with the service and product quality from Kurt Geiger, purchased at Spitz - Menlyn Park Shopping Centre.

I bought a brown leather shoe from Spitz at Menlyn Mall (Kurt Geiger brand). The second time I wore the shoe, I stepped into a small amount of water while stepping out of my car — nothing excessive or out of the ordinary. To my absolute shock, the shoe immediately changed colour from brown to cream.

How does a genuine leather shoe change colour so drastically from minimal contact with water? This raises serious concerns about the quality of the product being sold.

I returned the shoe to Spitz at Menlyn Mall to have the issue sorted out. It has now been over a month, and I am still waiting for feedback or resolution. I constantly have to follow up myself. Every time I call, I receive a different story, and no one seems to take accountability for what has happened to my shoe or where it currently is.

The lack of communication, poor service, and complete absence of ownership is unacceptable - especially for a premium brand and retailer.

At this point, I feel completely disregarded as a customer. I expected far better quality and significantly better customer service.

I would not recommend purchasing from this store if this is how customer complaints are handled.
