Clarke's Bay

In January 2024 as tourists we visited Clarke's Bay a supposedly prestigious part of Ballito, Durban, on our visit an incident occurred as I came down their famous municipality beach staircase which collapsed from right under me. I sustained injury and the municipality of Kwadukuza refused to take responsibility when their staircase was in much need of maintenance. I cannot believe how reckless and irresponsible they were for not maintaining their staircase let alone taking responsibility for the injuries I sustained. To all those considering to make it a stopover well I would advise not too as they don't maintain nothing and if you do get hurt the onus is on you to foot yr bills. I know one thing is I certainly won't make recommendations for that part of Durban as it's an accident waiting to happen!!!!
