I made a purchase on the 16th August on the website and paid using my visa card. Within minutes I received a email with an order number and estimated date of or around 22nd August 2022. On the morning of 19 August I tried to track my order but their tracking portal was saying the same them and i checked my sms for possible delivery dates but nothing. I then received an email later that day just confirming the same details and I waited. on Saturday 20th around midday i got a whatsapp message and missed whatsapp call telling that the courier was on the way. I immediately called back the courier and told him that I wasnt around and was at my son's sporting activities at Pretoria Rugby Club. I asked if we could organise another date and he then told me to call Kwit Kat and pay for another delivery. I waited until Monday morning and I emailed them and the called on 0123286328 but it wasnt going through. I then found a whatsapp platform and I notified them of my conversation with Patrick driver of the new payment I had to make before I could get my parcel. The responses were denial, and blamed me for not being around even though their email had put an estimated date at the 22nd of August. When I asked about the payment I was told i need to make if i were to get my order the person responding told me that i should have bring the recording of my call with the driver. Told me outright I was fully responsible and i must not complain since the I was not there on delivery. The issue is that their tracking service in not real time so one has to wait until they make the delivery, at their own time. I have used most online services and you can easily track your parcel and plan accordingly. At the end of my conversation I was told to just wait for another delivery and not to complain. It feels like I am getting handouts. The person handling their customer service is outright rude, defensive of their delivery system and certainly customer is not king. I will definitely never buy from them again, and in the meantime I will wait and until they decide to deliver. In the mean time their portal states that they have deliver my parcel, when they havent.
