I have a kwikot geyser that is still in the warranty period. A while ago the geyser started leaking. I called the customer service...the person I spoke to was very polite and when the call got disconnected...she took the time to call me back to continue with my query. I was told that I would be contacted by the technician to check on my availability. I was contacted the same day which was 23 Jan 2025. The guys came out to my premises and when the guy inspected my geyser...his findings was: The geyser is incorrectly installed. My home was renovated and the plumber installed the geyser outside. He said that the kpa valve is wrong...we have a ****pa valve and the geyser is 400kpa. The geyser has worked for all these years with no problems with this valve for the past 4 years. Another issue we have is the water pressure from Ethekwini water supply is below 400kpa. He then went on to say...he can fix my problem if "I make a plan" When asked what he means....he said that I must tell him how much I can give him. When I turned him down...he went on to cancel my query and mark my geyser as out of warranty because of the installation. The technicians that came out to my premises are from Electrolux S.A KZN DIVISION.
