Unfair labour practice

I was working for Nashua and have logged a laboir case for unfair practice I was told I am not entitled to employee benefits as I am a consultant they let me go in October now I have a labour case with the depart3of labour since 31 October I keep following up on the reference given but no response I wasn't pahinng uif or tax they were paying me off the payroll and when I asked for a payslip they said I am not entitled to one all they can give me is a letter of confirmation that I worked there.
