Dear Clients of Labstix This is a copy of the email send to the Labstix Team on the 12th June, unfortunately Labstix needs to refund monies owing to us, which till now unfortunately there has been no forthcoming from Labstix, we have only received excuses. We had to pay upfront, no questions asked, even after we've been a client of there's for over 10 years, which we did without a problem. I have always had a huge consideration for the Labstix Team, and for Dr. Jaco. We have worked together for a number of years, and I have always felt that the Labstix team is there to resolve any concerns or problems that might arise. We placed an order with Labstix PO: 4641 send on the 23rd march for the Covid Tests. When I chatted to Dr. Jaco over the phone, and I asked how long would these tests take for delivery I was told around 3 weeks. We needed these Covid tests to be delivered to us before the 7th may, as we were preparing a container. Unfortunately we did not receive the Covid tests. We therefore require our refund for INV: SO884 in the value of R143,750.00, as we have not received the Covid tests at Medaf, as per the PO. We also placed an order ( PO: 4643) and paid for KN95 masks x 3000. Labstix invoiced Medaf ( INV no: 1365) for: KN-95 Masks (10) x 300, Unit price: R460.00, Total cost = R143 750.00 Please note: 1) The labstix invoice indicates Product description: KN-95 (10) and qty: 300. Medaf paid for box/10 x 300 = 3000 masks in total. The errors here are: 1) Medaf did not receive box/10 – we received box/25 2) Medaf received 12 bags containing 25 masks in each – Total 300. So the person at Labstix packing this order, looked at 300 and hence packed 12 bags, because 12 x 25 = 300, not realising that in actual fact its bx/10 x 300 = 3000. We need to be refunded for 2700 masks = R 142,830.00. We do not want replacements, unfortunately we have already paid for customs, duties and clearing costs on 3000 masks that we did not receive. We will waiver these costs, and will not charge Labstix for them. In total Labstix needs to refund Medaf Exports a total value of: R286 580.00. We expect to have the value refunded in Medaf account by Wednesday – 17 June 2020. I would like to think that Dr. Jaco and the Labstix Team, are going to honour there responsibility, and do not want to have their name tarnished for R286 000.00.
