I took my 2015 Jaguar for a major service on 9th of July. The techinician apparently had a problem with faulty parts is what i was told when i got there at 16h30 to fetch the car but there will be a slight delay. I then waited till 18h15. I was given a courtesy ford eco sport eventually so that everyone could go home. Im still ok at this stage. The following weeks chaos prevailed and prevents Land Rover Jaguar opening their doors. The week that follows on tuesday the 20th my car is delivered but the central locking doesn't work. Im aware that the sticky passenger door locks manually but everything else works well and now my car is left unlocked. I called LR Jag Dbn and am told they aware it was working when I brought it in, it probably was just it's time to give up when it did under their watch, but they left a quote for around 3 and half grand for a new handle. Its in my car. I ask again, isnt it ur responsibility to take care of my vehicle when it's there and im told, we sorry, if u want that fixed you have to pay for it. I want nothing extra or for free, I just want my car back the way I gave it to you and serviced of co**** . Sorry nothing we can do, unless you pay for it. The manager will tell you the same thing. Pay for u damaging my car? I was getting no where. A few days later Customer service calls and asked me to rate Land rover Durban service. I say 9 out of 10 until their was the problem with my central locking that worked when i sent it in and doesn't work any longer so now 1 out of 10. The agent apologises and says on the recorded line that she will get someone to contact me within 24 hours. That was weeks ago and nothing. So thought let me vent on HP. I look after what I have and you dont give a damn Land Rover Durban. So so disappointed caus I love my car and my experience with LR Durban weakened my faith in the brand.
