Great in taking my calls and answer my questions. Even replaced my vacuum pump free of charge. They did overhaul my head in my disco and when I got the car back their was a new noise that should not be there. I asked a second opinion after raising my concern with Landyworx and they said it was a valve. Took it back to Landyworx and when I fetched the car again they said it is not on their work and that they checked the valves. After they assured me their work was good and it is not them I took it back to my regular landy technician. They checked the valves while I was waiting and the tolerances were way out!!! Landyworx did substandard work and played it down. The head overhaul was much more expensive than another place would have been plus I did not get what I paid for. I could have had cheaper and better service somewhere else. They are nice guys but nice guys don't fix cars. Could have turned out much more expensive for me if I believed them.

My Land Rover handbrake jammed late morning on a Saturday. I called Landyworx and was put through to Ruan who patiently assisted my husband to dis-engage the handbrake step by step over the telephone. Awesome service. Many would not have bothered.

My husband fitted a radio and amp in our land rover discovery 3, unfortunately something went wrong and the car would not start thereafter. The car was put in a flatbed and taken to landyworx where we were told that the cost to repair was R20k and the warranty would not cover it. We gave them the go ahead to repair, we even paid already but the car took over a month to be repaired and there was always an excuse as to why it's not done as yet. Eventually we got our car back, but the amp was not in the car, everytime we called Ian gave a different excuse saying he hasn't had a chance to check camera footage. After a while he said that it is too far back to check. Our personal belongings (the amp) went missing and they refuse to take ownership, this is not acceptable. And it takes forever for them to get back to you. I am even questioning now if they have the correct diagnosis in the first place.

Take your vehicle somewhere else. Faulty diagnosis and quoted me R34k for repairs. Took my car in same poor state. Spent R95 to arrest the problem.

Please be very cautious when using this firm. Firstly they use pirate parts not the genuine Land Rover parts --I had to get the agent to rectify the work they had done on a change of oil filter which leaked badly after they had fitted a pirate part. Secondly they mis-diagnosed a vibration noise on my Disco 4 saying I needed a re-furbished front diff at a cost of over R18 000 which I went ahead and paid for. In actual fact it was the tyres that made the noise and when I replaced them the vibration went away --they refused to refund me !!

Similar problem with me. My wife's Evoque started leaking coolant. Took it to Landyworx - diagnosed damaged pipe - changed it cost approx R2500. Got home - coolant still leaked. 2nd Visit to Landyworx, now told that radiator was cracked needed to replace it - R20k. We replaced the radiator. Got home - coolant still leaked. 3rd Visit to Landyworx - now told it was the thermostat. Replaced that R6k. Guess what - still leaked. Went back to Landyworx - they now diagnosed cylinder head gaskets as shot. Quote to repair R37k !!. Fed up so we went to an independent service company - they found the coolant bottle had a crack in it. Replaced it For R1500 including labour and the car has been perfect ever since. Landyworx won't admit their mistakes - they are either incompetent or dishonest or both.

Refering to Landworx: 12 Arbeid Ave, Strydompark. Took my 2008 Disco3 on three occasions: (i) they never picked up my 'slipping' clutch/gearbox ever (ii) they never picked up excessive smoking (during oil service) When I eventually took the car for the excessive smoking, it was diagnosed as a faulty turbo pipe which they replaced. Did not solve the problem. They then came back to say problem is bigger than anticipated and quoted me R33,984.93 to replace my turbo and intercooler. I has my car returned and fixed it for R95.00. Make your won assumptions.
