After signing up with Afrihost, it took almost 2 months for my line to be installed by Vumatel, once vumatel installed, my line was activated, I was on the 20mbs line at first, but then downgraded, later I moved to the 10mbs line because the 4mbs was too slow for us, needless to say every now and then the line goes off for no reason and none of us can connect. About 4 months after installation, i got a call from Vumatel saying I must pay for an invoice for installation. I said it was supposed to be covered by Afrihost, even the wording on the invoice I recieved said Vumatel installation. It has been over a year of being with Afrihost and now Vumatel is calling me saying Afrihost is not paying, but I have never even received an invoice from Vumatel, nor am I aware of one, i would have paid when they installed had I known, but it was never mentioned. How can Afrihost advertise free installation up to R4000 then exclude Vumatel, but your invoice stated vumatel installation, this is not fair to the customer or Vumatel. As for Vumatel, how can they install without making the customer aware it is for their account?
I had a contract with Telkom that was cancelled, I called to cancel it, yet I was still debited the next month and they could not trace the call. I called again and they said it is cancelled and I wanted to know what happened to the remaining data and why did the line get cancelled instead of being converted to prepaid and they said that I did not request it. I paid R253 and there was only 2 gigs used out of 20GB day and 20GB night, the card was cancelled and all the data fell away, I will never take out a contract with Telkom again, I opted for 24months, I did not want a month to month after, but there is always an excuse when I called to cancel, my contract was supposed to end in July, yet I was debited August and September and I did not even use the data, the only time I did was when my phone connected automatically, I feel I should be reimbursed either with the data they took when they cancelled the line, or give my money back.
My doctor referred me for blood tests in April, I went to Lancet at garden city hospital for them to assist me with the tests. There were some tests that were scratched out because my doctor said he wasn't sure if the medical aid would cover it. When I got to reception, i did the required tests, then I asked them if the other tests would be covered or not, if it is then I will do it, if it is not covered I will not do the blood tests. The guy checked and said yes it is covered, so I said great, do I need to draw more blood, he said no, they can use the sample already taken. A few weeks later, I got a bill from my medical aid stating the tests were not covered. I have been going back and forth with Lancet since May, if it was not covered I would have A) not done the tests or B) paid in cash....I would have not done the tests because I did not have the funds. After months of harassment from the call center, I paid the bill, but I am not happy about this, Lancet should not run blood tests if the client says they cannot afford it, i asked them to leave it if it is not covered, but they only reversed one test eventually. This is not acceptable, clients should not be deceived.
Liza-Mari Petzer has just made my day. In a world of bad service, I found someone who stands out amongst the rest, she made me laugh, and managed to bring my premium down to much lower than expected, I guess I might have to thank Mi way too for giving me a quote that led me to this wonderful lady. Thank you Liza for your friendly and efficient service, King Price should be proud to have you.
Cara, this note is overdue by a couple of weeks, but because of your awesome service it has not slipped me to share my gratitude for the assistance received from you. It is said that adding additional vehicle to your policy can be cumbersome sometimes but you really made it a painless exercise, your willingness to make the addition fitting for us was also highly appreciated. Thank once again for your superb service and the King can be glad to have you on their team...
We bought a car from E motion cars, the salesman was great and everything was wonderful. We told him that we would be purchasing the car cash, we were then told that that car was already sold, but they have the exact same one on the floor, we test drove it and decided to take it. Now 1 and a half years later when we want to sell it, we were informed that it was in an accident, now it makes sense as to why when they heard cash deal, they decided to sell us the one car instead of the other. No integrity.
My husband fitted a radio and amp in our land rover discovery 3, unfortunately something went wrong and the car would not start thereafter. The car was put in a flatbed and taken to landyworx where we were told that the cost to repair was R20k and the warranty would not cover it. We gave them the go ahead to repair, we even paid already but the car took over a month to be repaired and there was always an excuse as to why it's not done as yet. Eventually we got our car back, but the amp was not in the car, everytime we called Ian gave a different excuse saying he hasn't had a chance to check camera footage. After a while he said that it is too far back to check. Our personal belongings (the amp) went missing and they refuse to take ownership, this is not acceptable. And it takes forever for them to get back to you. I am even questioning now if they have the correct diagnosis in the first place.
I took out 2 contracts on vodacom that went off with 1 debit order. When the contract was coming to an end, I called the call center to cancel, who said I should call back in 2weeks. I called back, had a lengthy conversation with vodacom, then 2 weeks later R87 went off my account, I called vodacom and they assured me it was cancelled, but then another debit went off, and an agent called me telling me I am due for an upgrade, when I told him I cancelled the contract, he referred me to cancellations. Yesterday a lady called me again, saying I am due for an upgrade, when I asked her why is my contract not cancelled, she said oh, I see it is cancelled and your account is at our legal department. Seriously? Legal, I tried to call vodacom this morning because I received a statement, which I cannot open, and I have let vodacom know but they have never bothered to send me a statement in a format that can be opened. Can somebody please tell me why contracts are not automatically cancelled firstly because I signed a contract for 24 months and not longer, and secondly, why is my account, that was cancelled at pre legal? I don't have any details of this.
My husband needed to go to the doctor, who referred him for blood tests and x rays, This is a doctor who is registered on the network, which means his fee should be covered in full (as per all our previous visits).

This morning I received a statement saying that not all the tests would be covered, secondly, the doctor was not paid in full it is over the scheme rates. Now I ask you this, how can a doctor who is fully covered not be paid in full, secondly, why do I pay R3700 a month on medical aid and I still need to take out money to pay for blood tests and prescribed medication. Bankmed is Biased, the only reason we opt not to take a more expensive plan with savings is because WE CANNOT AFFORD IT, with this in mind, why does bankmed think that we can afford tests that we have not budgeted for. I am aware that there is a code for certain tests that are covered, but should we not be warned that we will have to pay that much in before the tests are done, also, if it is not part of the formulary, why is the network doctor allowed to send us for it, he does not care if we are not covered, also why give a prescription if you are a dispensing doc and he is so rude, this is not fair.
