It's been a further 70 days since my initial request for my refund.
Do yourself a favor, pay abit more and purchase brand new or from a reputable second hand store because this company will have you begging for your product/refund.
Joel has been beyond incompetent and always has an excuse with the latest being that "our bank has intervened and requested documentation fbefore we process transactions"
I've worked in the most corporate environment with 400 staff, we processed our refunds in 2 days, yet it's been 70 days and their "accounts department" fails to conclude one refund.
The previous lie was that they wait for suppliers to refund them before they refunding the customer, I didn't even receive the product! I requested a refund due to their pathetic services!!
The consumer protection act and their online policy states that refunds are paid over between 10 - 14 days!!!
I have since submitted a complaint with the consumer Ombudsman who have contacted them and will proceed with a case of theft against Laptop Depot if I do not receive my refund in the week.
It is the epitome of disgusting business practice that during such unprecedented times and difficulty faced by many consumers, this company makes people plea for their own money! Do yourself a favor and please use your Money elsewhere.
