Stay away. This company every few months create a series of fake 5 star ratings on Hello Peter. Nobody when having a normal experience take the trouble to post to Hello Peter 5 star ratings. If you suddenly see a range of 5 star ratings, it is an effort to cover their fraudulent activities. I still have not received my refund for 3 laptops ordered more than a year ago that they could not deliver on. Stay away. Take the trouble to search for them on CIPC and SARS, you will not find them.

These guys are fraudsters, stay far away don't pay even if the product seems great for the price, you'll simply NEVER recieve the product. We ordered (order no. 1120-7548) a laptop the start of April, to date, nothing...

My worst online experience nightmare ever. I bought a laptop from them in February after so many emails and whatsapps they sent me the wrong laptop, an old and lower version from the one i orderd. I spoke to Phillip and Joel, both forever promise to get back to you but never do about getting it corrected by supplier. Their laptop freezes, doesn't work. They don't respond to whatapp, phone or email. If they do, they give an excuse to get me off their back. STAY FAR AWAY FROM LAPTOP DEPOT. I wish someone had advised me so

Has to be the worst online experience ever. I bought a laptop from them on 17 February after several emails and whatsapps my laptop finally arrived, or so I thought, after opening the package, it was the wrong laptop. I spoke to Phillip and Joel, both promised to get back to me. I have still not gotten an answer, laptop doesn't work, they don't respond to whatapp, phone or email. STAY AWAY FROM LAPTOP DEPOT

It's been a further 70 days since my initial request for my refund. Do yourself a favor, pay abit more and purchase brand new or from a reputable second hand store because this company will have you begging for your product/refund. Joel has been beyond incompetent and always has an excuse with the latest being that "our bank has intervened and requested documentation fbefore we process transactions" I've worked in the most corporate environment with 400 staff, we processed our refunds in 2 days, yet it's been 70 days and their "accounts department" fails to conclude one refund. The previous lie was that they wait for suppliers to refund them before they refunding the customer, I didn't even receive the product! I requested a refund due to their pathetic services!! The consumer protection act and their online policy states that refunds are paid over between 10 - 14 days!!! I have since submitted a complaint with the consumer Ombudsman who have contacted them and will proceed with a case of theft against Laptop Depot if I do not receive my refund in the week. It is the epitome of disgusting business practice that during such unprecedented times and difficulty faced by many consumers, this company makes people plea for their own money! Do yourself a favor and please use your Money elsewhere.
