I replied with my details and a photo of the lock requesting a price on the lock.
The "Locksmith" Juan responded. Not only did the above ETA of 15 - 25 MIN not apply to him as he arrived an hour and half later, he was also ill equipped. He could not replace the lock and left us with a door without a lock. The invoice #989 arrived and I was charged the R200 call out fee plus an addition R2495 for the "Opening fee of B class lock on Sundays". Prior to my booking I wanted them to come out on Monday but was told there were no additional fees for weekends as they are 24/7! My problem is if they cannot fix my problem then surely only the R200 callout fee applies and not R2695 EXCLUDING the fact that we DO NOT HAVE A LOCK and have to pay for someone to replace the lock they were meant to replace.
