Horrible, horrible management. The Andrew person is the most rude and incompetent manager I have ever come across. Why the facility still keeps him despite various complaints from guests is surprising. I will never advise anyone to book at LEGENDS SAFARI RESORT. We arrived in a room with no electricity, when we phoned Andrew, he was threatening us that we should leave and didn’t care that this was my birthday weekend, even put the phone down on us. We ended up leaving the place and booked 30km to another facility. What a horrible experience at LEGENDS 🚮🚮🚮""
I booked two rooms for the 23rd October under my Booking.com account, the one room was allocated to myself, Mamiki Matlawa ( Room 151A), and the other room was allocated to my friend , Reshma Bhoola ( Room 187 D). When we arrived to collect our keys , the assistant that Andrew left behind told us that some rooms have electricity and some don't, and we asked her what do we do in such a situation after travelling from JHB. She said we should call Andrew if we find out that what is the real story. Indeed when we arrived, Room 151A, had no electricity and the Room 187A had electricity. I started calling Andrew and he only responded on the 7th call, and I also left a message which he didnt respond to. Instead of being helpful, he just started being rude, and when I said to him what should I do since I travelled this far to celebrate my birthday, he said he doesn't care if this is my birthday. The next thing he says, " Oh your funds have not cleared from Booking.com" maybe we should refund you. I'm like why are you telling me this after handing down the keys. He just started threatening me that he will put the phone down, which he eventually did after he explained that the fault is Eskom's from Friday. I questioned that if this has been happening since Friday, why didn't he call us to let us know, so that we can make a decision whether to travel or not. Andrew didnt want to be questioned, and he showed signs of incompetency for a Hotel Manager. No Hotel Manager behaves this way, why Sea Star Accomodation still keeps me puzzled, considering the number of complaints from other guests previously. I have been travelling my whole life, and to say I was treated badly is an understatement. We ended up checking out, and he was no longer taking my calls after he dropped the phone on me, and had to book at Euphoria Golf and Lifestyle Resort for an additional R 3600 for 2 rooms as it was already late and we couldn't travel back home.
This has put me off Legends Golf and Safari Resort, and I'm definitely telling friends and family not to waste their money, and the Directors have no regard for their guests by keeping this Andrew person.
