Good day please assist me with an ongoing query with Renette from Legend Signature clubhouse. We booked at Monomotapa on the 22nd December Legend Signature clubhouse Christmas menu was shared with us as guests and my family made a booking which we paid for on the 23rd December 2023 to secure space. On the 24th something traumatic happened, a burglary into our villa where our belongings were ****** and compromising our safety. We decided to leave on the 24th as our kids were traumatized and Renette knew what had happened and that we had no choice but to leave and cancel our booking. I have been requesting for our refund since then and she is failing to respond to this request and ignoring my correspondence. How can you take our money for lunch that we could attend and not want to pay us back? I need my money back please refund me my money. This experience @ Legend Golf & Safari Resort has been a bad experience for our Christmas holiday.

On Christmas Day we went for a lunch buffet and we regret it till today. It was very expensive but we were provided with chicken wings, meat***** and green salad as a starter. The chef also complained about people dishing up too much food and that was unprofessional because everyone paid and it was a buddy. The food got finish and they never refilled the dishes instead they packed up and we all left unsatisfied.

Monomotapa What an absolute disappointment. We had to check out this morning due to a break in our house. This happened 23rd December 2023 after we went to bed. Our privacy was invaded and we no longer feel safe. We did not see any security or patrol at any point during our stay and the fact that people came into our house does not make it right. I would like to formally complain about this and request a refund. The fact that the receptionist just said sorry and did not give us any assurance that they are working on a plan is totally unacceptable. This was by far the worst experience ever and the 1st bad experience that mad us not feel safe at all. My children are traumatized by all of this and this is a great inconvenience for my family. The following items where ******: 3 Samsung tablets with 2 charges Lacoste sneakers Alcohol from the cooler box Samsung airpods We waited for police to arrive with no success I asked the receptionist to send us a copy of the incident report and case number and still waiting. The fact that they can lie in a customers face to say that this is the 1st time such has happened yet we hear a different story and see different reviews is so scary. This shows that it's only a business transaction and not about the customers experience pulling our safety at risk. I need my money back and a refund for the Christmas lunch scheduled for tomorrow.

Very beautiful and relaxing place especially for kinds. But after coming from a perfect vacation from Kingdom resort we where welcomed by a bad smell of (urine) in our bedroom as we opened the bedroom door and the smell of cigarettes. Second room the bedding was smelling the previous visitors perfume. The resort offers just accommodation and you use the nearby places for activities.

Made a booking. Not even 2 hours later I phone to make bookings for Golf only to be told that the golf course is not operational. Booked a suite, but there is no restaurant. Requested a refund, but owner cannot be contacted. Scam to say the least.

Horrible, horrible management. The Andrew person is the most rude and incompetent manager I have ever come across. Why the facility still keeps him despite various complaints from guests is surprising. I will never advise anyone to book at LEGENDS SAFARI RESORT. We arrived in a room with no electricity, when we phoned Andrew, he was threatening us that we should leave and didn’t care that this was my birthday weekend, even put the phone down on us. We ended up leaving the place and booked 30km to another facility. What a horrible experience at LEGENDS 🚮🚮🚮"" I booked two rooms for the 23rd October under my Booking.com account, the one room was allocated to myself, Mamiki Matlawa ( Room 151A), and the other room was allocated to my friend , Reshma Bhoola ( Room 187 D). When we arrived to collect our keys , the assistant that Andrew left behind told us that some rooms have electricity and some don't, and we asked her what do we do in such a situation after travelling from JHB. She said we should call Andrew if we find out that what is the real story. Indeed when we arrived, Room 151A, had no electricity and the Room 187A had electricity. I started calling Andrew and he only responded on the 7th call, and I also left a message which he didnt respond to. Instead of being helpful, he just started being rude, and when I said to him what should I do since I travelled this far to celebrate my birthday, he said he doesn't care if this is my birthday. The next thing he says, " Oh your funds have not cleared from Booking.com" maybe we should refund you. I'm like why are you telling me this after handing down the keys. He just started threatening me that he will put the phone down, which he eventually did after he explained that the fault is Eskom's from Friday. I questioned that if this has been happening since Friday, why didn't he call us to let us know, so that we can make a decision whether to travel or not. Andrew didnt want to be questioned, and he showed signs of incompetency for a Hotel Manager. No Hotel Manager behaves this way, why Sea Star Accomodation still keeps me puzzled, considering the number of complaints from other guests previously. I have been travelling my whole life, and to say I was treated badly is an understatement. We ended up checking out, and he was no longer taking my calls after he dropped the phone on me, and had to book at Euphoria Golf and Lifestyle Resort for an additional R 3600 for 2 rooms as it was already late and we couldn't travel back home. This has put me off Legends Golf and Safari Resort, and I'm definitely telling friends and family not to waste their money, and the Directors have no regard for their guests by keeping this Andrew person.

Bad customer service. Spoke to man on the phone trying to query about specifics of my booking and he was rude The advert is also misleading as it mentioned that there were double beds available, only to find its single beds. He was so rude and unprofessional

I made a booking at this resort. Firstly they website is misleading. The place doesn't look like that anymore. On arrival we got lost and the manager couldn't direct us correctly. We didn't check in at the reception we were told to get the manager(Andrew) by a room. He didn't know which room we booked and asked us. He had to scurrile for the room keys. We were told the restaurant isn't taking any dinner orders. But we can drive out and get food, 20km out to the nearest town. He said we can book for breakfast and that the restaurant isn't far. Which was a lie! The activities which is shown on the website isn't given on their resort but by the other resort. Saturday after breakfast we decided we want to check out. We called Andrew and told him we will not be staying for another night and we would like a refund. He said he will speak to his boss and asked us to send an email so he can forward it to him. It's been two weeks and still nothing form them, when I called to ask what is going on. Andrew said his boss won't pay us back and I told him that they are stealing money which we paid for,expecting to enjoy our stay. Which we didn't
