I am reporting Lwazi Public Business cell number *** in Mokopane and Letaba Wireless Network cell number *** for what I believe is dishonest and misleading conduct.
I responded to a fibre installation advert with the following advertised costs:
- Installation: R700 - WiFi: R350 - Transport: R300
After I made payment, I received a message from another person claiming the company had closed temporarily due to a funeral and that I now needed to pay an additional R650 for installation.
This extra charge was never disclosed before payment. When I requested cancellation and a refund, I was told there would be no refund and that I would lose my money unless I paid more.
I feel misled and pressured into paying additional money after already making payment based on the original advert. I have proof of payment, screenshots of the advert, and WhatsApp conversations available. South Africans be aware
