I stayed at Lilian loft hotel a hotel I booked via booking.com. The hotel had a total blackout when there was load shedding no backup I even tripped walking down the stairs. I fell unsafe there the location and the noise level at night were unbearable so I checked out the next day and requested a refund for the the rest of my stay which was 2 more nights. The hotel is not child friendly and I was travelling with 4 kids. Booking.com processed my refund and they said the hotel will pay me back. The hotel also responded with they processed my refund and paid it back to booking.com they even mentioned that they also don’t know what to do because they can’t excess booking.com. I have sent emails to booking. com but without any response.
