No service but refuses refund
Do NOT EVER pre book & pay anything at Little Belgium. Last week my husband booked and paid us a table for the Valentines Dinner. We arrived at 19H00, at almost 40 minutes into the evening we stood up and left due to no service, the first time a waiter approched us was at 19h30. A couple that was sitting at the table next to us got there after us l, but they were helped before us. We spoke to Neesha Kasi welcomed us and said that we want a refund as this is unaceptable. She informed us that se is only the host for the evening and is unable to give as a refund at that time, she gave us the number for the manager (Monica) my husband phoned when we were still there to inform her that we are leaving and we want a refund, she said that they will refund. Till today we still did not receive a refund, and the owner Ryan refuses to give a refund. Where in your life do you pay for something you did not receive. I am taking this further!

Little Belgium Benoni Horrific Valentines Experience
Worst experience, definitely a No go!!! Got there on Valentines evening. They did not have my name on the list. The host got someone to find us a table. Two tables that came in after us got served whilst we watched and waited. We waited 15 minutes and eventually had to ask the waiter who seated us for service and he stated he was not our waiter but he will get our waiter who supposed to be serving us. A guy then came and lit the candles on the table. 10 minutes later a different lady came to ask for my name to check if we are on the list, she couldn't find it and said she was going to check the second list and never came back however she did walk past us several times and ignored us for the rest of the evening. A random kitchen staff lady saw that we were not being attended to, she approached us and we explained to her what happened and she apologized and assisted us. She brought us our bottle of champagne, a different waiter opened the bottle for us, she then brought our glasses and a menu. She took down our orders and left. 5 minutes later the guy who lit the candles came to take our order for the second time but first wanted my name to check if I was on the list. We explained to him that we would like to give our dessert order in with the main course so we would not have to waiting any longer, he then said he would come and check on us when we were half way done with our meal and then he would take our dessert order as he felt the ice cream would melt which made sense. We got our food after about an hour being there, it was meant to be a savory waffle 1x butter chicken and 1x Spinach and Feta with mushrooms (Kindly take note, their savory waffles are sweet, they use the dessert batter for the savory waffles as well). Halfway through our meal we called the they guy who took down the order to take our dessert order and for takeaway boxes for our main course. 40 minutes later we had to go and look for him to findout what happened to our dessert order. The host then played the blame game on kitchen staff and then the guy then came out with our dessert and one of the scoops of ice cream had fallen off the waffle and the waffle looked like a mess, when we pointed that out to him, he looked at the waffle and was in shock. The Gelato that we also ordered and paid for did not come just like our waiter who supposed to be serving our table. I then told my finance let's go as we could not wait another 40 minutes for a dessert. All in all, from the kitchen to the front of desk staff are extremely unprofessional. We paid for a service that was not received. My personal opinion is do not waste your time going there because if you read 50% of the reviews on Google you will see that this is a norm for this establishment, all they do is apologize and not change or improve their service after numerous complaints. You can see that alot of funds has been invested into this establishment. The place it self and the views are beautiful, it really looks like a place that one would like to visit every weekend which is a shame because of the unprofessional staff and mismanagement. Not forgetting my fiancé used the ladies restroom of which you have to squeeze through the entrance door because there is a table shoved behind the entrance door. There are 3 toilet cubicles which do not have lights in them so if you close the cubicle you are in complete darkness. They took the globes out of each cubicle and left only one light in the bathroom.
