Excellent Technician, Disappointing Company Ethics

I contacted LockPro Locksmith to assist with retrieving a key from my vehicle. The technician himself was extremely helpful, efficient, and provided great service on-site.

Unfortunately, my experience with the company as a whole was very disappointing due to the misleading pricing communicated by the telephonic operator. I was clearly quoted R1400.00 for the service. However, after the work was completed, I was unexpectedly charged an additional call-out fee as well as VAT on top of the quoted amount.

At no point during the call was I informed that there would be extra charges added. I have a voice recording available as proof that these costs were never disclosed.

I find this type of pricing practice ********* and misleading. While I appreciate the technician’s professionalism, I cannot recommend a company that creates false expectations and fails to communicate costs transparently.
