<p>I moved into Zaida's Lodge end of September 2016. I paid a deposit of R3000.00 and a weeks rental plus the rental for October 2016. in November 2016 , i paid the moths rental and end of December 2016 paid the rental for January 2017. At the end of December 2016, I was summons to their house, where i was informed that i short paid. The rental increased in January of each year by 10%. I found it very strange as i was there only three months and increases are only due in a years time, my rental increased. Ï informed Zaida, herself that i am moving as my stuff is in storage and i need a bigger place. I informed them by email and whatsapp that i am moving out end January 2017. On requesting my deposit i was told it will be paid out in 14days after i moved out. "ïf any it will be refunded". Sad to say i was told my many that they not people that really refund and i went to check out their website, only to find other tenants had the same problem with them. "They are crooks". on the 21st Feb 2017 i received mail that my refund is only R75.00 and according to the email i short paid November and December and according their mail the rental only increased in January 2017. They are reall bad business people, they take off R350.00 for cleaning, of which i cleaned myself. the condition of the bathroom was a nightmare. i used domestos to clean the tiles and toilet, so I dont know what cleaning they did. And i used my own bedding and utensils. the last month i bought take aways as the stove has only one working plate. i had a very bad experience at this lodge. noise of which i addressed wtih them. i handed this over to the Rental Tribunal as well. i wish them all the best. </p>
