I am totally disgusted with the condition we found Loftus, after the concert held on Friday night, “ The Scorpion King” The following were found: • Seating area block DD was dirty with ******* and beer glasses all over • Seats were dirty and not wiped off • The passages were smelling like urine • Bathrooms were appalling and dirty • No toilet paper in the toilets • ******* lying in passages I have never seen Loftus Versfeld ever in such a poor condition, and highly unlikely that I will ever go there again

Aan loftus en die span wat die veld gedek het met blok puzzels wat HALF gedoen was. Sit ek vanaand met my Moeder se knieg wat heelmoontlik gebreuk is. Soveel mense het gestruikel daar.

I was is a lift accident in 2008, I fell 13 floors and is now on disability at home. I have epilepsy, major depression disorder, anxiety etc. I am on medication since. I went to Loftus to check the Springboks just before they left to China for the world cup in August 2019. That day the lift fell in the middle of the floor and we stuck for more the 2 hours. I got an attack in the lift and could not breath, there was a Dr in the lift and she tried to help me and the last thing I heard was that we are loosing her, her heart rate and pulse is going down. After that I was out and when I opened my eyes I was in hospital. I received letters from the ambulance company that they are handing me over to the lawyers, i then explained to them that my medical aid is paying for ambulance and they told me that they are not contracted with my medical aid. After the incident I was in pain, fear, anxiety etc. And did not even wanted to go out of the house but I need to go to Dr and chiropractor. People took videos and send it to my husband, when I saw the videos I saw myself dead. I send all the info to my lawyers and they refuse to pay for the ambulance, chiropractor, medical bills etc. There was people that complained and said this is not the 1st time that things like that with the lift issue happened and because of that Loftus must make sure they have people on standby or fix whatever they need to do, because people will die there.

On Sat 9 March 2019 we attended the Bulls vs Sharks game at Loftus. The Choc Foundation was there and we brought my brother-in-law to the game whom has colon cancer. As we were on our way down the stairs he collapsed due to the heat and not being as strong as he has hoped to be. It took 10 min for us to get the response of the Tshwane EMT after I had to run to 2 gates and 3 security people later calling on their radios for help. There was an ambulance parked at the gate inside the facility but with nobody in sight. How is this possible. When the EMT got to us he did a vital check and gave him some water, we requested a wheelchair as we still had to go all the way to Block Y. To our surprise there are no wheelchairs available for an emergency at Loftus Versfeld!!! How unacceptable. You hosted one of the biggest games of the year and you are all for the support of cancer patients but you have the minimum limited resources when it came to the medical emergency of such a person. I am disappointed and furious that my brother-in-law had to experience this! What on earth will have happened in the event of a major incident at the stadium, with 1 EMT available in 10 minutes time!!! Get yourselves geared up with the events that you are hosting!!
