<p>My Warranty claim was declined by Luxottica for my Oakley Sunglasses due to this reason</p> <p>your warranty has been declined due to the fault reported not being one of a manufacturing nature but one caused by misuse to the frame.</p> <p>However in a follow up email this is what the aftersales Lady Theresa said</p> <p>For a lens to result in a breakage of this nature, a lot of pressure has to be applied to the lens due to the impact resistance of the lens</p> <p>The above statements are contradictory and as the lens is cracked and the frame is in very good condition how did they get to this outcome!</p> <p>Thye basically just dont want to honour the warranty and by the way the glasses when I was not using them were always kept in a hard case...................</p>
