I bought a car from private owner and had the car checked out and serviced at a workshop of my choice. The car had a cambelt replacement sticker in the door panel indicating that it was due for replacement on 262 000 kms.. Thus I did not change the belts.. 5 months later my cambelt snaps Nd I call to inform Mase and also to hear about warranty on belt.. They informed me that because I am not the original customer and the car had not been serviced by them after belt replacement back then there is no warranty on the item.. I might be ignorant but that just seems like a quick way out of manning and taking responsibility for a failed product! Not impressed at all.. Don't recommend.. This is not even mentioning the arrogance displayed over the telephone by the staff I came into contact with.!
