Very poor customer service. Do not expect this company to be accommodating in the least. I am also to blaim. If it is only for the fact that i didnt open my package in the first 14 days. But because of that, Macro is not prepared to accommodate me for receiving a two pack of sd cards which was supposed to be 512 gig each and ended being 512 mb! I paid a whopping R798 for two 512 mb. And because i didnt report it in the designated time frame. Sorry for you mr du Preez we are not able to help you AT ALL. I admit that i opened it long after i received them. That was when i needed them. But for Macro to not even come to the table and reimburse me even just for one of the cards. I mean it was 512GIG!!!! X2

I called there contact center 6 times to cancel online order and they never canceled it. Then I was promised a call back from a team lead and still no call back. It was escalated twice and still no cancelation. This service is ridiculous. There communication throughout the process was pathetic. I canceled my item 3 times and the only communication I got was that it was shipped to the courier. Why would you ship a canceled item? Its been almost a month and still i haven't received my money back either. They make promises and cant keep up with it.

I'm completely disappointed and frustrated with makros service. It's been two weeks since I've sent my laptop I for repairs and I have sent emails and u still haven't received not updates whatsoever. Emails are ignored whenever I try to follow up the stuff they are rude and show no remorse for inconvenience caused.This laptop is brand new not even 5 months old and yet it already has a fault and I have missed deadlines.This delay is affecting my academic work because I don't have a laptop to use and Makro shows no urgency regarding the issue and they are not even producing basic feedback.

I am so disappointed by the service I got from macro, literally a week ago I purchased an iPhone se and an iPhone charger only received one order and no communication of the iPhone I purchased the date they said it would be delivered has passed. When I try to send an email they just say the will review the matter with no further action taken. A lawsuit must be filled against Macro as this is unacceptable because why encourage people to order online if you are just going to **** them.

We bought a 2 plate gas burner (Boko) from Macro online last month.On the adverti*****t, the 9kg gas cylinder was grey in color, but the gas cylinder that we received is blue. I just feel that Macro is misleading online shoppers. They should be transparent and give the correct information on what it is that's for sale. The gas outlets do not accept the blue gas canister in exchange but fill it up at an added charge. Even though it is a good price for the product and it works well, we are disappointed and would probably not have purchased it if we knew beforehand that the gas cylinder is blue and not accepted at Gas Outlets.

We bought a Defy double door fridge from them in August. it was Delivered on the 26 August 2024. No dolly to bring it in so they dropped it on the back end....... We had it for about 2 weeks and it started making a noise. Then one night the noise was so loud it sounded as if there was a tractor in our kitchen, we had to switch off the fridge. We phoned Macro and they said that they will log a call and send a technician out. BUT What we were told by a guy names Kevin and a old lady that worked there told us that if there is anything wrong with the fridge, they will replace it. The technician came out from Defy Kevin and some other dude. First tried telling us there is nothing wrong. Opened the back fiddled a bit and left. A night later it made the same noise, and I filmed it. Sent it to Lucky from Defy. He came back. This time opened our deepfreeze, unpacked it and told us to boil the kettle. He opened something at the bottom of the deepfreeze poured the boiling water in there saying they are defrosting the deepfreeze. Closed it up and left, the noise stopped. Now we see there is a huge crack in the deepfreeze on the inside of the freezer, we saw this yesterday. I phoned them now and get told they going to do nothing about it as it is customer negligence. It is their policy......... I see it as their policy it to do the customers in. I think for the money we paid it, it should be exchanged and not told it is my fault that there is a crack. So I R12'000 for a " new fridge " that made a noise and is now cracked and Macro said sorry not our problem!! I honestly think this is disgusting service from their side. if we were told the truth when we bought this white elephant, we would have gone somewhere else. This fridge has given us nothing but trouble from day one and we have been given the run around.

Bought an washing machine with an so called warranty after trying numerous times to get the technician out they are busy for more than a month. We are still without an washing machine an no technicians available in the near future
