I am very disappointed about the counsel of madibeng local municipality and its ward counsellors, the ward consellor of ward 7 in majakaneng by the name levy which is unreachable on phone and also his brother who took his taking his messages called lawrance as i complaint about a foreigner who had build his house on top of borehole that was supposed to help the community with water and as that stand is not on the map even the house number or electricity box and when i inform them they ran and give the foreigner a number ( 70151) which doesnt exist and the foreigner says he bought the stand but dont have papers! anc in madibeng is so ******* that they only think for their stomach but nothing for the community! The community of majakaneng had been protesting alot for water but the consellor is brave to turn deaf ear to water crisis! People must walk a long distance to buy water while the foreigner had build his house on top of borehole that was supplying water to the community! What must happen when the community go and burn tyres on N4 road? Its what they want and like!! When are they going to install a pump on that borehole?? It is next to house number 70150 at soshanguve section on madiba 2 street!

I am beyond fed up with the pathetic state of service delivery from Madibeng Municipality. Day in and day out, it’s either water outages, electricity cuts, or both. This has become the norm – not the exception. We are expected to pay rates and taxes like clockwork, yet receive absolutely nothing close to reliable or dignified basic services in return. How is it acceptable that entire communities are left without water or power for hours – sometimes even days – with little to no communication or accountability? This is not just an inconvenience; it’s a complete failure in governance. People rely on these services to live, to work, to run businesses – and Madibeng continues to treat it like a casual, unimportant detail. We are not living in a remote wasteland. We are ratepayers – tired, frustrated, and frankly disgusted with being ignored and let down. If you can’t manage the basics, then step aside and let someone competent take over. Enough is enough.

On Monday 5 May 2025, i went to the traffic department to apply for professional Driving permit.at the counter, i was told thy could not process the payment for the PrDP because a traffic fine is blocking the transaction. i was issued with a paper that shows a traffic fine under the Johannesburg Metro Police department dated March 2021 to be paid at the local ABSA before my PrDP can be processed. it was very funny that only one traffic fine out of the many was highlighted.Upon arrival at the ABSA bank branch in Brits, the cashier demanded the fine to be paid in cash and i told him that i do not have cash and would like to make a card payment. i was then told to wait as the system is offline. after an hour of waiting, the cashier told me that they cannot accept the payment as the system is still down. i therefore logged into my computer and checked the fine under the Pay my fine website and made an online payment. upon return to the traffic department, i told the cashier that ABSA could not take the payment because the system was down and that i made an online payment on Pay my fine. when itried to show her proof of payment, she said it is fine and processes my PrDP. i suspect there is a cash **** on traffic fines targeting unsuspecting and desperate people at the traffic department. the document i was given to go to ABSA was teared to remove the header with the name of the cashier that printed it. However, the same cashier is the one that took my payment and her names appear on the PrDP. there is *******ion happening at the traffic department and i am willing to produce all the evidence to fight this.

I phoned 5x, no answer. Send 8 emails customercustomercare@madibeng.gov.za no response. How does one try to sort out a dispute. Do officials get paid without being in the office? Why do they have an emails address which contains the words "customer care". It is a disgrace

If I could give less than one star I would. So far we've had constant issues with power outages, and water supply, little to no communication of any kind from the Municipality, regarding these issues. The numbers for electrical and general inquiries on their website does not work ( non existing when dailed ) you'd be Luck to get an answer when you phone the emergency line, and then their so called "Stand by" electricians of the fire department, went of shift. How is there a stand by when people just aren't available even in an emergency of for after hours when unexpected things happen ?
