What a horrible treatment I’ve received at the Westgate branch. I’ve never been so disrespected in my entire life. What a horrible service did I receive from a bitter lady working in a counter at Magic Company Westgate. I had finished counting my ticket then gave her the receipts. I then asked her how many tickets do we have in total as we had 3 receipts. With an attitude she told me the total. So there was a toy that my son would love and I saw it it was behind her. I asked for it politely she went off me hey. Telling I shouldn’t even look at the back I should just look on the glass display. She told that she’s teaching me all this so that next time I know where to look. Mind you the toy that I had pointed out it’s the same one on the display. When I raised that she said to me she won’t repeat herself she told me where to choose from. I had some tickets left I just asked her to choose for me as I was not ok anymore she just folded her arms and said how will she know what I want she has the whole day she will wait for me. I chose a spinning toy asked for a yellow one as I have a boy she gave me a pink one, when I corrected her she got angry and started talking to her colleague clicking her tongue. Another lady that witnessed everything came to assist us and showed my son how to use that toy. I went out in disbelief that one can treat someone like that and to top it off she’s on duty. What happened to customer service? This all happened yesterday the 4th December 2025 around 13:50.

I am deeply disappointed by my recent experience at Magic Company Westgate Shopping Centre. On Sunday, January 19th, I visited the outlet with my children. Upon entering, I noticed a rule prohibiting food inside. I approached the counter and requested to leave my Panarotti's pizza there, intending to collect it when we left. Unfortunately, I forgot to take the pizza as we exited the premises. I realized this at another entrance in the mall and immediately returned, only to find the outlet closed. On Monday, January 21st, I contacted the store to report the issue. I was informed that the pizza could not be located. The staff member who had initially assisted me was off-duty but was contacted. She claimed she thought I had collected the pizza, as it was no longer on the counter where she had placed it before leaving. To my dismay, I was told that the pizza might have been taken by “naughty kids” who were playing around the counter. This explanation is unacceptable. How can such a situation occur under the watch of your staff? I entrusted my food to your employee, assuming it would be safe. The lack of proper security measures at your outlet is concerning and reflects poorly on your management and accountability. I expected better from an establishment like Magic Company. I hope you address this matter seriously to ensure that other customers do not have similar experiences in the future. It's not about the pizza, it's all about the principle behind it. I await your response and proposed resolution.

Used to like the fact that you could play with tokens at the suncoast branch and now that they upgraded to the carded system it's absolute **** the prices have sky rocketed from 6 tokens for the claw machine its now 12 tokens, all cheap china mall prizes and getting parents to spend so much more money as all the games had a 100% increase on them the token functionality was working so don't see the need for the upgrade apart from ****ming parents to spend more money over the festive period

I wish I could give zero stars. After waiting in line for 30 minutes with no help, the manager firstly **** saying she asked us to wait because of a party, when in fact her only words were for us to move aside for a party (no clear demarcation of where to go!?). After 30 minutes of waiting, no one acknowledged us or gave an indication of wait time. I had 3 young kids with me and decided to leave. I told the manager that their service is awful. She then started yelling at me!!!!!!!!! Not a raise voice, yelling!!! When I asked her to stop yelling and told her it might be wise to get more people if they know they are busy. Never ever returning there again!!!!!!!!!

Went to magic company at Gold Reef City on Friday 6th September , I swiped my card at the machine the standard swipe is R100, I did not get any tokens in return even though the money went off my account, when I went to query at the counter they said unfortunately they cannot help me because I paid with card and I told them I did not want a refund I just wanted my tokens, they persisted to say that they cannot help me but will take down my details to give to "head office" to confirm the transaction, up until today I still have not received a call from anyone to refund me for money that was taken with nothing given in return, honestly this is terrible service and you should be very careful when using the token machines, they aren't afraid of taking your money and doing nothing to return it
