Whent there to buy some plants, beautiful plants, good prices, nice restaurants. But the part where the animals are kept smells horrific. The ponds for the ducks are dirty and the water smells awful.

While holidaying as the Emerald Casino River Resort my passenger car was accidentally shattered by one of the guys cutting the lawns. Evita helped me through the entire process of replacement of the glass without any hassles. I was very impressed by her professionalism. Thank you Evita.

I won a karaoke compitition on the 18 March 2017.

My family, friends and I spent atleast always more than R500 almost each weekend to support me in this competition, in the process supporting Magic Tavern.

To my discust, the prize I won had no sponsership from them. I won a cash price of R200 but still paid a R50 ebtrance fee. This competition was a big competition and they did not even worry that they contributed nothing to my winnings.

I have no reason to ever go back there as it seems the actual person who ran this competition and their own sponsers is the one who gave magic tavern the support from customers.

This was a huge waste of my time where Magic Tavern was involved. This is not my first win as I participated in other venues competition which gave wonderful prizes.

Hi all I am JP Thomas,
On Saturday 29 August 2015 at magic lawns my nephew was playing on the jumping castle while playing he fell of the castle and hit his eye against a piece of steel which was sticking out. He cut his eye lid open he was bleeding very bad when i got to him. when i went to the bar to ask for a first aid kit the manager said that they don't have one for me all they could give me was cotton wool and Detol. Now i ask you how do you stop bleeding with cotton wool??? The little pieces of cotton wool will get stuck in the eye if you use it. At the end we landed up at a hospital in JHb where a Professor had to patch his eye up and put in a tube to drain the water from the eye through the nose. He was terrified and has gone through a lot of pain, i get it that accidents happen but they could at least just have a FIRST AID available and someone on duty that has first aid training. There is a lot of kids running around there and accidents happen fast. So to parents out there please think twice before going to MAGIC LAWNS
