Worst service
The service by MAN Truck and Bus Centre City Deep branch is the worst ever. I need information about the battery that fitted by them and the truck doesn't start at the moment. They asked VIN number and whole lot of other information. They first denied having fitted the battery but' it has MAN sticker on it. The guy later agreed that they fitted the battery and even sent me an invoice. One minute they said the battery is no longer under warrant and they later they change and confirm that the battery is under warranty. After two hours of back-and-forth WhatsApp messages, they asked me to call a call Centre.

Worst service

They won't fix my tax form; as requested by SARS!!!!
What do I need to do to have my IRP5 corrected and resubmitted to SARS by MAN?? I'm a former employee of MAN who is desperately struggling with your company SINCE FEBRUARY this year to have a code error on my IRP5 sorted out, but nothing gets done about it!! I'm a small business owner who is trying to finalise my tax return, and this single issue is holding me up and preventing me from doing business! I CANNOT FINALISE MY TAX RETURN UNTIL MAN FIXES MY IRP5 AND RESUBMITS IT TO SARS!!! IT IS AFFECTING MY BUSINESS AND THUS MY INCOME, YET IT IS THEIR MISTAKE THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED!! PLEASE EXPLAIN/ADVISE ME WHAT TO DO NEXT?! Apparently, the Shared services team are looking into this issue & I've been in contact with 2 of your staff members, but NOTHING GETS DONE ABOUT IT!!

Zaakir is the best employee at MAN Truck & Bus Centre Hatfield
I received the best service from MAN Truck & Bus Centre Hatfield. I spoke to only one consultant who made sure that all my requests were met. He was very helpful, patient and ensured that all requirements were met. I would like to thank Zaakir for assisting me and making my frustrations bearable. Keep up the good work!

Poor Service
My truck was towed in for broken fan belt. I requested that the vehicle be thoroughly checked as we suspected some damage to the drivertrain caused by the appointed towing company during the tow. I was told that no defects were found which was highly improbable due to the fact that when the truck arrived the entire chassis was covered in covered oil. No investigation was done to determine the loss of oil. We departed Kimberley enroute to Johannesburg. Upon arrival we noticed more oil had leaked out. We found the oil had be leaking from the connection point of the propshaft to the differential. How is it that your mechanics missed this huge defect? Its unacceptable and very unprofessional. We didn't ask for a repair, just an inspection which clearly was not done. It seems we were just told there was no defects to get us off the premises as it was the end of the day. Very poor....

BAD SERVICE FROM MAN SA
I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO BUY A NEW MAN TRUCK FOR A WHILE NOW. I TOLD THE SALESMAN ON THE DELIVERY OF THE LAST TRUCK THAT I BOUGHT FROM THEM, "NO 5 FOR THE YEAR" THAT I WILL BE READY FOR THE NEXT NEW TRUCK END OF JUNE, THIS WAS ON THE 26TH MARCH 2021, I SPOKE TO HIM 3 TIMES AGAIN AND ASKED FOR THE QUOTE, ON THE 15TH OF JUNE I REQUESTED A QUOTE FROM A DIFFERENT SALESMAN, HE QUOTED ME, AND CAME BACK THE NEXT DAY SAYING THAT HE CANT SELL TO ME AS I WAS A CLIENT OF ANOUTHER SALESMAN, I SPOKE TO THE SALES MANAGER ABOUT THIS AND HE ASSURED ME THAT THERE IS A TRUCK AVAILABLE FOR ME, THE FIRST SALESMAN CAME BACK TO ME AND TOLD ME HE HAS MANAGED TO GET A TRUCK FOR ME BUT HE WILL ONLY KNOW FOR SURE IN THE NEXT DAY, A WEEK WENT PAST AND NO NEWS, UPON TELLING HIM THAT IF HE DOESNT WANT TO SELL TO ME HE MUST JUST SAY SO AND NOT BLOCK ME FROM BUYING FROM ANOUTHER SALESMAN, HE REPLIED SORRY I WAS VERY BUSY, WHAT CAN I HELP YOU WITH??? AS IF BUTTER CANT MELT IN HIS MOUTH ASIF HE DOESNT KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!!! WELL FOR STARTERS, I BOUGHT A NEW SIDE TIPPER TRAILOR FOR THE TRUCK THAT I WAS SUPPOSE TO GET END OF JUNE THAT IS NOW STANDING, AS I DONT HAVE SOMETHING TO TOW IT WITH, THAT TRAILOR IS A R900 000.00 INVESTMENT STANDING AS I DONT HAVE A TRUCK TO TOW IT WITH!!! AND THUS NOT GENNERATING AN INCOME!!! I AM SO SCHOCKED WITH THE LEVEL OF SERVICE I CANT IMMAGINE IF IT WAS MY BUSINESS WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE TO A SALESMAN ACTING LIKE THIS!!!! I HOPE THAT THIS WILL GET TO THE RIGHT PERSON AS TO CLEAR UP THE INTENTION OF MAN SA IF THEY ARE IN THE BUSINESS OF SELLING TRUCKS OR NOT!!

DO NOT BACK THEIR PRODUCTS AND HONOUR THEIR WARRANTIES
I bought a brand new MAN truck, which gave me endless trouble since the day it arrived. Then I started having gear box issue after gearbox issue, which was supposed to be under a 1 year warranty each time it was repaired. On the 3rd gear box issue MAN refused to honor there warranty and tried to force me to pay R35 000-00 for the repairs-Which I refused. They then got a court order to attach my property for Non Payment for faulty workmanship! I am defending this case and I will never use them again! Oh and by the way I also bought a VW Truck from them which had similar issues. Anyway I have finally managed to get RID of all my MAN and VW trucks-Thank Goodness!
