I've been a client for 5 years now paying off my daughter's student loan. After a consultant told me 2 years ago when signing my new contract don't worry next time just negotiate the same premium and without notice my debit order went off 2 days prior to the agreed and per contract date and double the amount. When I contact the bank to reverse it they said they can't because manati blocked it so that I can't dispute it. After several attempts to fet hold of someone there eventually they phoned me back saying no technically I signed for it and I need 20 days before the debit order to dispute it with the. Nevertheless debited my account 2 days before my debit order date leaving me with R0. 00 in my account without food, water and electricity till I got paid. There answer they are not refunding me. People take note how they operate. According to me..... Breach of contract from their side. And the worst. They get away with it.
