Mariner Finance Not a trustworthy company
I had a terrible experience with Mariner Finance this past week. I submitted all required documentation, send all the POP that had to be done within minutes of requesting the information. The whole process started on Saturday the 5th April. I completed everything by Monday morning 10:00 just to find out that the transfer will not be done as the Boss is not there to authorize the transfer. Tuesday came with excuses, Wednesday came still no transfer, thus after the lady gave me her word that all is in order. Never the less, I ended up with my daughter not having any place to sleep as we needed the money for her lease agreement. I cancelled the application. Waiting for my monies to be paid back.. Now my messages are being read but no answer is being given to find out when am I getting my money back.

STAY AWAY!!! **** ALERT!!! I app**** for finance, was told i was approved. I was then told to pay R2499 in legal fees in order to have the contract drawn up. After this was paid i was then told i needed to pay an aditional R2000 as a transfer fee. After paying this I was then told i needed to pay an aditional R2000 for insurance on the loan. I then made VICTORIA aware that this fee was supposed to be covered by the R2499 fee (STATED IN THE CONTRACT) she then asked me if i would like to cancel the application. I then told her to process a refund, she said only R2000 was refundable. I URGE YOU TO STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very bad service being sent from pillar to post with no credible information.
<div>I app**** for a loan with Mariner Finance on 2025/01/30 and was made to pay a loan acceptace fee after my application was approved which I did. I was told the loan amount will be in my account soon as the company lawyer has signed my contract. I have not received any money that I was promise as per the loan approval contract. I have been sent from pillar to post. I just want my money back that I paid to them I am no longer interested in dealing with them and their unprofessional staff that cannot give straight forward accurate information.</div>

Loan application
So, I was tempted to sign the aggreement forms after my loan was approved, I have asked this lady whom I was chatting with through their whatsapp platform and I asked if their company is a NCR registed company as I needed to gain trust, she rep**** "IF YOU DONT TRUST US LEAVE IT, OK"... That was so RUDE to start with. I am so disaponted and not happy at all.

Good day, I wanted to share how I was ****med by Mariner finance, by a lady called Victoria, please do not trust these pple, they took an initation fee of R3499, and later a transfer cost of R4800, money I borrowed from a colleague and friend which has furnished our relationship now. I called her on Monday to follow up on the loan, she kept on saying she is going to the office to meet with her boss who was going to authorize payments. This is dangerous and I later checked their website and everything about the website is ****, they have Somalians with Zulu names, the person who signed the form is someone who is from an Asian country. They are using N Mkhoza with banking details from ABSA, i will also report this with the bank so the account can be closed. They left me confused and it's January, I don't have money to go to work for the rest of the month. The vile thing that these people do is take the food from our mouths, some of us need loans to take care of January issues. They don't even deserve a star. Also when applying for loans or debt review, it's best to check if the company is registered with NCR. This is the worst mistake I ever made worse in the beginning of the year.

These people are ****mers!!!!!! Ask for upfront fees and keep on asking for more - I was ******** but eventually realised they are ****ming me. They send a **** notice of payment and of course I never received the loan. Beware everyone - their website is also very ****!
