Apologies for submitting my review only now, but unpacking and settling in takes more time and energy than I bargained for. Moving, as you very well know, can be extremely stressful and expensive. Masons made life so much easier. I looked with fear and trepidation at the inventory lists many moving companies sent me. There was no way I could tell beforehand how many boxes I would have. Masons made it so easy. A six-ton truck, four guys and it will cost you this much to move the content of a three-bedroomed house. When I asked about the cost for more than one trip (which I expected it to be), it wasn't double the amount, but half of the amount added. In the end, it took three trips (I have many books and kitchenware). The guys arrived right on time, worked from 11 in the morning until 8 that night and it only cost me R4000!!!! Also, their customer service is far better than that of many big companies. A week before the time I received an sms to confirm the date and time of the big move.

Wayne "Yogan" Naidoo, the worst person i've ever come across in my entire life, his drivers have no papers to be working in SA but has them removing peoples furniture and when they get into an accident they fabricate lies to make it look like the other person is at fault, seems I'm not the 1st, now he is refusing to send a simple claim form to his insurance so we put this to bed instead suddenly i was drunk while i was 5month pregnant at the tie of the accident, then moves on to another excuse that i paid his driver to keep quiet yet i called the cops and made a police statement, beware of this man, pure evil!!!!

Our complex had cut down a huge pile of tree trimmings. This created 5 huge piles. I went to see the trucks in Midrand to see how much they charge. I found a 2.5 ton truck with a trailer attached and arranged with the driver that I wanted this truck to come and clear the trees and bring back the chippings. In a phone conversation with the owner I agreed on R1600 for the job. When they came they had a 1.3 smaller vehicle and still wanted R1200 for a single load. I had no option but to accept that at the time and they still moaned about the pile of trees we put on. The truck cleared only one pile of trees and not the big stuff. It was the small thin branches. The driver complained bitterly that I was overloading the truck. The owner threatened me that if the truck breaks down or if they get a fine, I will be responsible for payment. They demanded payment of the one load and promised to send me acknowledgment of receipt. what a scam. I have learned that in future I would 1) Take photos of the truck I wanted. 2) Not pay until I get an invoice and a receipt. 3) Any funny play or change of plans - send the truck back and cancel the deal. 4) Make a deal for the job to be done and not by load. 5) Ensure that they have enough assistants and that they bring a chainsaw to cut down the size of the branches
