They lie about stock
I went to Mazista Tiles in North Riding, Johannesburg to buy a few roof tiles for my house. They told me that the tile I wanted was out of stock and wouldn't be in stock until next January. They directed me to another supplier in Bramley - a 60 km round trip for me. Because the traffic was so bad I went home first thinking I would call them before I set out on that trek. When I got home the guy who was doing my roof repairs said he didn't believe Mazista that the tile was out of stock. So he went there, spoke to the same salesperson (Collen) that I did - and came back with the tiles.<br> <br> So they had stock all along, they just lied to me. No doubt too much trouble for a few tiles. Great customer service.

You came into our showroom looking for a 305 x 205 Conventional Roof Slate. We did not have stock of this size. However, our sales consultant offered a larger format as an alternative. The larger format was not taken. Your roofer, Sam, then came into the showroom later that afternoon and went into the yard to look for a format that he could modify himself since the original size was not available. Sam, being an experienced roofer, decided on an alternate size, namely a 280x225 Top Nail. He was going to re-drill these and modify them to fit your roof. We contacted Sam to verify this information before responding to your complaint to ensure we had all the necessary and accurate facts. We apologize that your experience with us was not pleasant but thank you for the opportunity to address this.
