This is to inform you that the scammers of Meadowbank Essential Oils are at it again. The websites www.malubaessentialoils.com and www.afroessentialoils.com are both linked to the same scam. This syndicate needs to be stopped.

Also got conned, they created 2 new sites: afriessentialoils.co.za and afroessentialoils.co.za A Thomas Gham contacted me Reported to the bank and will report everything else to wherever I possibly can today.

Essential oil fraud
Fraudsters in the highest gear. Very nice until you pay them. Then they disappear without even a trace on truecaller. They pretend to be a import/export co dealing essential oils. Mbessebtialoils

BIG SCAM
I found this website online to buy essential oil which was very cheap compaire to other company so online I ask for the prices & information for the oils. SO QUICKLY I received email with list of oils & price. on 9th feb I placed the order & iahve received invoice to pay asking me which bank i bank with. the sales manager BIBY COLINS assure me that you will received your order on 10/02/2018 before 12 noon. Late on Friday i get whatsapp MESSAGE TO PAY FOR WOODEN BOX again. I paid because I was in a hurry to get my EO. no delivery came on 10/02/2018. than next week i have been told that i have to pay for insurance which is refundable on delivery. So i paid. from 12/02/2018 untill today 21/02/2018 I didn't received any goods or no answer for my calls / whats app call or emails. i have search from company registration number & company owner is JOHAN HALLOWAY GARVIE & register in 1997. If any one can get hold of this owner please do so. i am going to lodge a complain against this company. PLEASE DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THE PRICES ARE DAM CHEAP.

BIG SCAM

Suspicious Company
This company responds very quickly to an online query via WhatsApp. They informed me that they have exactly what I am looking for - at a wild price. We agreed on some samples. Then the suspicious dealings start: Their policy states that: any order amount below R2500 has to be paid making use of an E-Wallet account of the bank of your choice. Which company does that? When I confronted them about this, asking why they do not defend themselves on this site, they became VERY defensive and told me off as being a "bad customer". BE CAREFULL of this company - it seems like a scam...

SCAM BUSINESS
I was looking for Musk oil which only a select few companies was able to supply me with. After sending enquiries to all of them, this was the only company that got back to me. The Sales Manager, Bibby Colins, sent me a complete pricelist and added me on Watsapp and seemed very professional. After looking at the pricelist and deciding which Essential Oils I wanted to add in addition to the musk oil (as they had a MOQ 10 units) I sent him my list and asked him to please quote. I received a formal invoice which was stamped and again I thought "what a professional company". I was happy with the prices and then wanted to make payment. Bibby asked me which bank I was with and after telling him I back with FNB, he proceeded to send me a E-wallet account number which I thought was a bit strange but wrote it off as many companies seem to be going in that direction recently. I made the payment and sent him a screenshot as you cant send Proof of Payment when doing E-wallet payment. He confirmed receipt of the payment the next morning and then told me that one of their vehicles will be coming up to Johannesburg and I will have my parcel delivered by 12h00 on the 01.02.2018. At 13h00 on the 01.02.2018 I sent him a message to inform him that I have not yet received my oils and asked if you could please check with his driver what time I may expect the oils to be delivered. Needless to say, he did not reply which is when I decided to give him a phone call. To my delight he answered the call and said that he will most definitely check with his driver and phone me back... Well that did not happen. I phoned him again about 20min later and discovered that both the phone numbers I had for this man was switched off. This is were my heart sank and I knew it was a SCAM. Despite the professional looking website, the seemingly great service - THIS IS A SCAM! I would like to make others aware of this SCAM and warn you to please NOT fall for this. I will also be filing a criminal case and hope no-one else has such bad luck.

SCAM Business
MEADOWBANK ESSENTIAL OILS I was sammed out of R930 from this company. I placed an order for essential oils and was quoted R930 for the oils and shipping to my address in Cape Town. After I sent proof of payment through they emailed me again saying there is an additional cost of R480 for a wooden box needed to ship the products safely. I refused to pay this fee as it was not reflected in the final quote sent to me. I asked to speak to a manager who tried to bargain with me and reduce the price to R300, which I also refused. They acknowledged the error was theirs and assured me that I will receive my products by 9 a.m the next morning at no additional cost.
