I applaud the evidently understaffed nursing staff who do their best to see to everybody's needs. I have no complaints against them. When it comes to security, however, the hospital fails. My wallet was ****** out of my bag inside a locker in ACU that had a broken lock. I was not given the option to leave my valuables with security seeing as my allocated locker could not lock. I opened a case with SAPS and got a case number. Now the hospital want to wash its hands of this case. Surely I should be compensated for my loss since my bank cards and drivers licence and ID cards now all need replacement. My wallet was a genuine leather Guess foldable and a family heirloom. I think it in very bad taste for the hospital to stand back from this
