Two weeks ago I was asked by one of the supervisors of mega fibre to dig in my front yard and the white gentleman he promised me that they will put back my plants after digging. Today I was told that they are finished so I went to check and my plants were butchered. I then asked to speak to the supervisor, he was not the same guy who asks for my permission to dig. He asked if I was the homeowner and I said yes and he said he was doing me a favour by even trying to put my plants back because that side of the property belongs to the municipality but I was surprised when I saw my “white” neighbour’s yard being put back but he won’t do the same for me because he was doing me a favour by doing so. I am honestly shocked that there are white people who still treat black that in such a way. The treatment and the name calling did not sit well with me and he knew that nothing will done that’s why he was able to do that to me.
